Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Can you accommodate a 40 ft motorhome?
A: Yes we can.  We have 4 sites that can fit motorhomes up to 40 ft.  We do like to let folks know that the roads within the campground are dirt and that you the layout of the campground requires folks to make a few turns.  We respect that folks have varying degrees of comfort navigating campgrounds with their large motorhomes and are happy to answer your specific questions about parking your motorhome within the campground.  We want your stay at Tree Farm Campground to be enjoyable and your vacation in Vermont to be memorable from the start.  We will be open and honest with you about our sites and respect your decision to camp elsewhere if you feel uncomfortable navigating your 40ft  motorhome within our grounds.

Q: What time is your office open?
A:  9 a.m. to 8 p.m. We may not always physically be in the office but we are always on the grounds.  We have an intercom outside our office door where you can call for assistance with registration and someone will be there promptly to check you in.

Q: What happens if i want to check-in after 8 p.m.?
A:  You must call the office during office hours to make arrangements. If you did not make a reservation prior to 8pm you will not be able to stay that evening and will have to wait till 8 a.m. the following morning to make arrangements.

Q: Do you have water for swimming, fishing or boating in your campground?
A: We do not have water on our campground for swimming, fishing or boating but we do know where some of the best local spots are within a 15 to 45 minute drive from the campground.  We are also within a mile hike to the new Muckross State Park that has a large 10 acre pond open to the public.

Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Yes we do!  we love animals.  Campers are allowed to bring no more than 2 animals.  All animals must be up-to-date with their immunizations, not excessive barkers, and good tempered.  Dogs may not be left alone at a campsite for more than a hour and must be in the camper if you do leave them behind.  All animals must be leashed when outside.  We will ask you to leash your animal if we see them wondering the campground loose.   Please pick-up after your pet, this includes cleaning up waste and filling in holes.

Q: Do you have a space where dogs can run free?
A: Yes we do! we built a fenced in dog park! We try to keep dog waste bags supplied for folks  and we have a trash can right in side to make clean-up easy.  We even put a bench in the park so that folks can relax while their pooch runs around.  Full rules for the dog park can be found in the doggie bag box inside the park.

Q: Do you take credit or debit cards?
A: Sorry, NO we Do Not.  There is a surcharge with each transaction and we do not like the idea of passing that cost onto our consumers.  As our business continues to grow we continue to evaluate the use of credit and debit cards and may consider accepting them in the future.  As of right now we do things to old fashioned way, dealing with cash and checks.

Q: Are you open all year round?
A: We are open 5 months out of the year, the 2nd weekend of May through the 2nd weekend in October.
