ONGOING ACTIVITIES
DUCK HUNT: We've hidden colorful fun mini rubber ducks all around the campground for you to find. You find one, you keep one!
* This activity is for children 0-15.
* 1 duck per child per visit
* No ducks will be found in a garden, but maybe on the edge, nor will you find them at someone’s house or camping site. The edge of the owner’s yard, big log home, could have rubber ducks.
Photo Scavenger Hunt
Seek-and-find and win a prize. Guests are encouraged to explore ALL of TFCG to find all the items on our list. Share your photos with staff at any time during your stay. If you completed the list you win a prize! List of treasures to find are posted at the lodge on the community bulletin board.

Saturday, 28th, 7-8:00pm : Community Campfire and Roasted Marshmallows at the Lodge, While Supplies last
SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH: Camper Potluck, 50/50 Raffle, and Community Campfire
5:30-7pm. Bring your favorite dish to share… desserts, sides, snacks, main course. Share your culinary skills, or storebought finds. Please write a list of ingrediants to place next to your dish. Plates, napkins and utensils provided. Bring your own serving spoon.
SATURDAY, JUNE 20th: Kids Card Games and Adult Sipn’ and Deal
Kids/Family Card night in the lodge 6:30-7pm. Go Fish, Old Maid, Uno, and more- or bring your own Kids card game to share.
7-8:30pm Adult Sipn’ and Deal: cribbage, spades, pitch, the group decides. Bring your favorite sip for the evening and settle in for a good time.
SATURDAY, JULY 4th: Community Cookout and BonFire 6:30 to 8:30pm
Food 6:30-7:30 We’ll provide the hotdogs, guests are welcome to bring a side dish or a dessert to share.
Glow stick giveaway and basket raffle. Proceeds go to Veterans. If you’d like to donate a basket please drop it off by July 3rd.
Join us at 7:30-8:30pm for a community bon fire at the pavilion. Bring a chair or blanket and make yourself comfortable. (weather permitting)
CHRISTMAS IN JULY, SAT., JULY 18th.
Saturday, 18th. 6:30-7:30pm Decorate your site with Christmas and holiday splendor. Best decorated site wins $50. Register at the lodge with name and site number by 3pm Saturday.
No nails or other items may be adhered to any trees.
Voting Ends by 7:30pm Saturday. Winner announced at 7:30pm
Saturday, 10-11am Ornament making at the lodge, outside or you may get a kit to-go
Saturday, 7-8pm Christmas Cookie giveaway and voting for your favorite decorated site! Come get your sweet treat to enjoy with family around our community campfire after you vote.
SNACK AND PAINT, JULY 25TH, 6:15-8pm at the pavilion
$30 fee per person, at the Pavilion. Ages 14+
NO ARTISTIC talent required.
Bring your favorite sip, beer, tea, soda, water, wine, whatever sparks your fancy.
Lead by artistic talent Barbara. Barbara will lead us step by step in creating painted masterpiece and she does so with patience and kindness. Join your fellow campers in an evening of creativity.

SATURDAY, AUG 8TH: Family Candy Bingo and Adults Cash Bingo
6:30-7pm Family Candy Bar Bingo at the pavilion. All Children receive a free gift for participating.
7:30-8:30 Cash Bingo! $5 entry fee. $2 per card or $5 for 3 cards. 9 cards max. We have the bingo dobbers, you bring the cash! Snacks provided. Bring your own drinks.
ICE CREAM SOCIAL, AUGUST 15TH, 7:00-8:00pm at the lodge
Place your order at the window and we’ll scoop you up some ice cream and add your choice of toppings.
Enjoy your tasty treat outside the lodge or back at site with your friends and family
TFCG COOK-OFF: PULLED PORK , AUGUST 29TH, 5:30-7:30pm
$100 CASH PRIZE for first place! Trophy for first and second place.
$10 Registration. Min. 5 entries by August 26th to hold the event. Register by contacting Elizabeth at the office in person or by email [email protected]
Drop your crockpot off at the lodge by 5pm Saturday. Please label your serving utensil. We serve as is, no add on sides. The entry is what you have in your crockpot.
Popular vote and 2 judges votes determine the winners.
Pick-up your samples and voting cards at the lodge to-go window.
Take your tastings back to your site or have a seat outside the lodge. Don’t forget to drop your votes by 7:30pm.

Labor Day Weekend, Sept 5th: SATURDAY FUN DAY
1:00- 12:00 Tie Die Handkerchief Wear your grubby cloths or we’ll provide an old t-shirt for you to throw on. Cash donations welcome
12-3pm, Kids treasure hunt. Shhhhhh, don’t spoil the fun for others by sharing the location of the treasure or it may DISAPPEAR for all.
1-1:30 BINGO: Kids/Family candy bar bingo at the lodge
7-8 pm Adult CASH BINGO: $5 entry. $2 per card or $5 for 3. 9 card max. We’ve got the dobber you bring your favorite snack and/or drink.

Join us for fun conversations and friendship while we roast marshmallows around the fire.
Bring a blanket, a chair if you prefer your own, and a cup of cocoa or whatever you’d like and relax with us.
Halloween Weekend and Craft Fair, Oct 10thand 11th Saturday: 8:45-? Hunt for the Camper Femur Bone Begins! First clue drop at 8:50 11-11:30 Kids arts and crafts 11:45-12:30 Kids Halloween Bingo with Prizes HALLOWEEN PARTY AT THE PAVILLION: 5:30 Kids and Adults Halloween Costume Contest: Prizes 6 Limbo for kids and adults 6:30 Kid and Adult Pie eating contest. 7:30-8:30Trick-o-Treating at camp sites and vote for your favorite hauntedly decorated site. Voting ends by 830 pm. 1 vote per person. 2 judges and popular vote determine the winner announced at 8:40pm. SUNDAY -TFCG ANNUAL CRAFT FAIR, 8:30-1pm, at the lodge. OPeN TO THE PUBLIC. Our seasonal guests are all very talented, from painting to soap making, sewing, baking, and paper crafting. The perfect time and place to start your holiday shopping early. Most vendors except cash or check only, some may except cards. -9am coffee and winner of the best hauntedly decorated site announced.
